    Hey all, I have a Xperia x10 2.1.

So, i want to really transform my phone into something of my own. Get rid of everything thats stock. I was hoping that you guys could help me add themes to my phone. I'm bored of the stock icons and themes, but i dont know how to change it. Also; what cool stuff can i do when a phone is rooted?

Keep in mind; if adding themes and icons has to do with the computer; i have a macbook.

    Thank you all! :)

When you root you can do exactly that, make the phone to your liking.

I'm not sure about the Xperia community, and how strong the development force behind it is, but developers usually make different ROMs to help with customization.

There's a thread on here that covers on what root is and how to flash. I'm not sure if this forum has an Xperia section, but I'm sure support for that device is strong. Try googling a forum for your phone, hopefully they'll be of more use.
