I am considering purchasing the Asus Transformer and the keyboard dock to use as a netbook. any transformer owners out there, based on your experience do you think it will suffice for most education needs? I.e. research, word processing, etc?

What is your major. Many programs at college require Windows based apps.

Maybe for fun but not for real school work... I couldn't imagine typing a 30 page paper on a tablet.

I would just go with a laptop. Sure you could get a keyboard dock, but a laptop for the same price makes more sense.

Although Google body on the tablet would be great.
