transfer/add wallpaper & ringtomes?

Stupid question: How do I add wallpaper & ringtones onto my Droid 2 Global?

The wallpaper can be put on the sd. Then either apply through your gallery or by long pressing on the homescreen. You can transfer them from your pc with a usb cable or downloading them with your phone.

I'm still trying to figure out my new phone; I don't know how to download from a website to my phone. Are the downloads sent to my Gmail account?

One way to download from a web site is to long press the picture. You should get a pop up window with options to save that picture. If you use the stock browser, the saved items will be put in the downloads folder. They should be seen in the gallery also.

Create /media/audio/ringtones/ on your sd card. Put mp3 files in there for ringtones.
