I have HTC Desire S running on Gingerbread. A couple of keys were not working in portrait mode only and I confirmed that those spots are dead i.e not responding to touch. In landscape mode those keys work fine. Can anyone suggest a solution please. My phone is out of warranty.

Hello and welcome ton the forum

Could be an issue with your digitizer .did the phone get wet or dropped??

On Motorola razrs you can press the phone flat and sometimes it will cure (temporarily) issues like this. But its because of how razrs are made...idk if that would do anything here...but you could try it...

Other than that...idk. I'm sure others will have ideas for ya...
