First off, I want to say I have looked around and the info I am looking for may be on here somewhere, but I cannot locate it. Most people looking to do what I am looking for seem to be rooted and need to go back to .595 to allow the upcoming OTA. I am wanting to install the leaked Gingerbread on my Droid X. I am just on stock 2.2 Froyo. I do not want to root. I think, from what I am reading, I need .595. So, a few questions: 1) Is this possible to do? 2) Is this very difficult to do? 3) If this is possible and not too difficult, where can I find the info on HOW to do this? I appreciate any assistance and apologize for my ignorance on the issue.

Loading the leaked gingerbread is much like loading a custom ROM. You MUST be rooted.

I apologize CJM. If you see the time I reposted it here before she responded. I was afraid I posted it the first time in an area that might not get a response. Sorry again though.
