Best Applications For Android

Just wondering what applications everyone is using. I would like to use the information in this thread to compile a "top 10" list of must have applications for android.

Please specify the phone your using and if you are rooted or not, as some applications only work on specific phones.

EDIT: Will post my personal top 10 later today.

I know my list is pretty lame, but I am in a transition phase with apps and restructuring the homescreen, so I will update this.

Is there an app that allows you to see whatever "attractions" are near you? Like on the GPS devices where you can see what restaurants, malls, etc.
