I have searched everywhere and found nothing in regards to having my droid x read back to me any of my pdf, doc, or kindle books. Is there any word on anything for this?.

You are probably out of luck for the Kindle books, they are DRMed and will only work inside your Kindle app. Maybe Amazon will add the feature, eventually. Even if they do it will only work with books that the publishers decided to allow it. That is true even on the Kindle hardware.

I can't find anything for .doc files either.

There is an app called PDF to Speech. According to the reviews it is pretty limited.

Also found something called MultiReader, but it has a less than a two star rating and costs $4.99.

    Not really helping, am I?
