It's been a long time since I bought my OGD (release date), I've had an NE2 upgrade for a few months, and I'm about a week away from jumping on the Bionic train (i don't think I can wait a month for the vigor or ?? months for the HD or Verizon's not-yet-announced SGS2 variant or the Prime if it even comes to Big Red, but I digress....)

I just wanted to express (like my sig shows) my GREAT appreciation for all the work dev's have put into the OGD and helping me keep it feeling fresh & new for all these years. This thread could be posted in tons of forums considering how many different ROMs & themes I've flashed, but hopefully those for whom it's intended will read this.

I really hope the Bionic will be fully unlocked and a bunch of dev's will get their hand on one, because I'd love to keep seeing all the familiar names & ROMs & themes (and of course new ones!) working on the Bionic.

But lots of words aside, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has put in their time & effort developing for the OGD. I have no idea how I'd be able to enjoy the phone so many different ways for so long without all your help. I suck at coding, so it's true when I say I couldn't have done it without you.

THANKS AGAIN & I hope I see all/most of you again under the Bionic section soon enough!

Seriously, I love all the devs that worked on the OGD, without them I woulda smashed this phone in anger over lag already, you gave my phone life for almost an extra year made it so waiting for the Bionic was so much easier.

    Word

It allowed me the patience to wait for my perfect phone, instead of grabbing whatever I could to replace my (then) dieing droid.

Even though I've moved on, my droid is as strong as ever, living on as my fiance's mini tablet to use at work.

Truly agree, hats off to many men and/or women who have kept a phone that truly lacks in alot of aspects running great. In technology it all moves so fast that having this phone being 2 years old & still be as good & sometimes as if not faster than what's coming out is truly an accomplishment they should all be proud of.

Agree completely. The devs have made the last 2 years so much fun. I've been addicted to tinkering with this phone and I really have the hardworking devs to thank for it. It has opened up a whole new universe of enjoyment. It even changed my career path!

Thanks for starting this thread Icculus. And like you said, THANK YOU!!!
