Let's take everything that was unique about our phone...and make it just like everyone else. Love ya, LG...but you are screwing up....

I love it, to be honest. Having a secondary display seemed so remedial. If they can execute this right it'll be just as handy. The design just looks fantastic IMO. We all have our onions though.

I don't know anyone who likes extra toolbars.

Have you really gathered the onions of that many people on that particular feature? Don't be silly.

And doesn't Samsung basically do the same thing but with a pen on the Note line? Lots of people seem to like that so...

I've hung out in enough forums and I've seen enough people asking "how do I get rid of that dumb Google search bar?". I've also been supporting hundreds of users on phones and PC's. People. Don't. Like. Toolbars.

Yeah, I've been around forums plenty of years myself, not a common complaint.

Again, executed properly, it can be useful. It's not a permanent fixture in the screen, so access it when you need it.

Toolbars are a pain...

My onion is that this is a bad move, it's basically life removing the pen from the note line or taking the mods away from these moto z lines...it just doesn't make sense ,the entire idea was to set this v series apart from the g series. Now they might as well be the vg series.

I am just wondering if it will accidentally open every time you grab the phone - based on the picture it is not in a good spot. I guess we will get the answer to this next week :)

Toolbars are a pain? You're telling you never use the shortcuts built into Android? You've never used pie or LMT and thought it was great? You've never desired quick access to something? At one time pie was all the rage. The second screen was a fixed toolbar, at least with this it looks like you can hide it.

Again everyone has their opinions, but we need to see how that execute this before passing judgement.

I personally like this better than wasted space on the second screen ... This waybif you are able to remove it when you like it's more real estate on the screen... I use my edge sides all the time on S8+ it doesn't get in the way and if executed properly it's good
