On my S4 which volume controls should I mute if I only want to hear my alarm in the morning and nothing else at night?

Just put the phone to vibrate and it'll silence everything else but the alarm for your morning.

Turn blocking mode on. Set the timer for 10:00 p.m. to 6:00: a.m. ( or times of your choice) check every thing except alarm and timer.

Simply put your phone on vibration, and you will only hear your morning alarm at your defined time nothing more.

Good deal. You can set it and forget it.

Downloading alarms will also give you options to keep a volume set no matter what volume the phone is at. I think the system volume is the alarm volume. Try it by lowering all volumes for ring, notifs, and media leaving system volume up and see if it is that level. Seeing up block mode and all that stuff is the long way
