I'll try to give as much info as possible.

I'm attempting to set my custom ringtones (made with RingDroid and Ringtone Maker). Files are as such

Media:Audio
>Notifications
>Alarms
>Ringtones

My custom Ringtones are in the ringtone folder. When setting ringtones for contacts I can find them easily in the Android System. I am running LauncherPro. My phone is not rooted.

When i'm trying to set the message tone I do the following:

Go to messages; Click bottom left button; Go to Messaging Settings; Go to Select Ringtones; Click Android System; But all that is there are the stock tones.

I checked and all my ringtones play.

Help??

Ringtones and notifications aren't the same.
If you want them to be notification tones you have to specify that in ringdroid.
However, you can still use them as it if you pick music instead of Android system.
