    can you boot into recovery?

holding the X on the physical keyboard while powering on the phone?

Do you have a clean 2.0.1 backup?

Did you wipe data and cache...

Status 1 means the nandroid backup cannot be found.

You need to either copy it directly to /sdcard/nandroid or to /sdcard/nandroid/console=ttyS2,115200n8 depending on the version of recovery you are using.

you should be able to use your original SD card... unless it has been corrupted (which is unlikely). put the stock 2.0.1 in /sdcard/nandroid...

also what version of the Recovery Rom are you using?

You should be able to get the firmware from Verizon.

Hello, (my first post here). I can x-pwr boot to system recovery <2e>. But no matter what update.zip I try, (i.e. stock 2.0.1 signed by SignApk , etc.) I get...--->: --Install from sdcard... Finding update package... Opening update package... Verifying update package... E:EOCD marker occurs after start of EOCD, <---...this line not with all update.zips . But these lines always appear...-->E: signature verification failed, Installation aborted... I always name the files update.zip. I also have several roms in nandroid folder but it only does a brief update and finishes, after which it only boots to the M. I can't communicate from computer to device, so no adb mount is possible. I can add and delete files by plugging sdcard into comp. This all happened late at night while I was REM-ROM-ing or SLEEP-ROM-ing :) I flashed some image file and things went south from there. It was somnambulist stupidity :) Any hope? Thanks
