Different ways buddy, They are looking for minimalistic set ups, therefore, minimalistic text, SiMi clock, Advance power widget, transparent icons etc should be at all time on your files.

No, I'm on CM7, I know that bill its on MIUI and PE, I don't know about czonin but there's just one thing in particular, you need to run either Launcher Pro or ADW EX, those that allow you the highest level of customization.
