I wanted to use the blue Droid2 Eye Live Wallpaper, but have the sparks that follow the traces be red instead of blue. So, after finally figuring out the LWP was in /data/app/com.motorola.cxd.d2-1.apk, I put together a simple MetaMorph file to change to blue dot to red.
I applied the MM, changed to the LWP, and it worked. There were the blue sparks running along the traces. But then I had the bright idea to reboot the phone, and when it came back, I had a static wallpaper, and couldn't even find the Droid2 Eye LWP in the list. The file was still present, but it wasn't available when I went to change wp. No problem re-installing it, but now I don't have the red sparks anymore.
First off, what happened? Why did the LWP 'go away' after the reboot? Did I mess with a signature by changing the one PNG file?
Second, how do I get this change to stick?
    Thanks
