    Stuck in boot loop

I installed GPA14 and tried to install the Honeycomb theme, but it gets stuck in a boot loop. Do I have to install both zip files for this theme to work???

That's weird. You're the first to report back with bootloop on GPA14.

Did you wipe before installing GPA? Also were you running another theme before you installed Honeycomb?

These two things can cause bootloops.

I have encountered boot loops as well. However, it only happens when I do a clean install of gpa14 and the theme at the same time. You've got to install gpa14 (wiping data & cache of course), let it boot up, then boot back into recovery and install the theme, it will work fine.

It does that with honeycomb, nextheme, and revolution.

I always have the same issue. I have to load each one one at a time and then let it boot normally before I can load the next one. If I try and skip that step I get boot loops. Never used to happen, but then one day it just started doing it that way.

Is there anyway to get the honeycomb theme with stock font sizes. I feel that after I flash it all the fonts get huge.

Thanks for the themes! I flashed revolution and its great so far. The Honeycomb theme was giving me a lot of issues (slowdowns, lockups, random reboots) and the music player wasn't very reliable.

Thanks for your efforts, though. I can't wait for the respective apps.

I encountered a few problems with using the honeycomb theme. The music player kept force closing, and would not launch. The led lights also do not work. In terms of the bootloop problem, that only occurs if you try to install both a new rom and a new theme at the same time.

These themes are great, but i'm having one very small problem. My power control widget is never transparent like the ones in your screenshots. Could there be a reason for this, and is anyone else having the same issue? I have tried honeycomb, nextheme, and currently revolution to no avail. I have done a fresh GPA install before each one too. It isn't a dealbreaker as I really like the revolutino theme, but I love the way the power control widget looks in the screenshots!dancedroid

Just noticed that the power control widget isn't even white on my new theme, it's still green lol

Is the app theme that goes with the Honeycomb theme worth applying, or is it outdated? I know it's always tough to keep app themes current due to the constant updates most apps have.

Its pretty current. It doesn't have the new Google Talk though. Everything else is good.

Will it mess up the look of gTalk if I apply it? And if so, is there a way I can apply it and just omit the gTalk theme from taking affect?

Well talk.apk isn't really themed. It at most has a changed icon. But you can easily remove it if you have an archive manager like 7-zip.

I don't...I'm just gonna make a backup and then apply the theme. If I don't like it, I can always restore. Thanks!

    BTW, love the honeycomb theme!
