    [Theme] xTheme 0.2 (Droid X) for Froyo 2.2 (6/29/10)

This is a port of the Droid X interface for Motorola Droids running Android 2.2 Froyo. You must have a Froyo ROM installed to use this!

Source: From the Droid X system dump

    Installation Instuctions

This is an update.zip style file. Rename to update.zip if you're using SPR.

Then, boot into recovery and install the .zip (or use ROM manager to install ROM from SD card if you are using CW).

    Included

-Themed framework and system apps (no gapps are themed -- this is the way it is on the DX)
-Installs Eliot Stocker's Music Mod (5 widgets)
    -Installs the Droid X LWP
-Includes the Droid X video player
-Installs the Droid X boot animation

    Installable Themed Third Party Launchers

-These are installable .apks. You don't need to push (don't push, actually), you don't need root, etc. If you have ADW or LP installed already, you do need to uninstall them first!

    Themed ADW Launcher Standalone 0.9.0

    org.adw.launcher.apk

Takes a little work (changing settings) to get it to look exactly like this:

    Themed LauncherPro Beta 0.6.3

    com.fede.launcher.apk

Takes a little work (changing settings) to get it to look exactly like this:

An inverted status bar version would rock :)

I can't stand white notification bars lol :/

Is there anyway to change the icon of the launcher from contacts to browser? How would I go about doing this?

I'm assuming that's ADW Launcher, you should be able to just replace the shortcut like you would for the dock.

    It's in Launcher2/res/drawable-hdpi

If you end up making a nice image, you should post it up so I can update the theme :)

I've got a few ideas of my own too, though I'm gonna wait until tomorrow to try.

It's Launcher2, so the images are hard coded in, and there's no way to change the apps the shortcut leads to.

I would install this but I'll most likely be getting a Droid X so I don't want to ruin the fun =P

I am going to assume this is an update.zip-style installation? I assume it works for ClockworkMod Recovery?

I dont remember EVER seeing "remtool.sh" in the root of any update.zip or NANDROID backups.

Wow, that's what I forgot to write, instructions!

Lol, that's my fault. Yeah, it's update.zip for CW. Good assumptions ;)

I like the fact that moto noticed that we don't like the stock Android theme, so they added red progress bars and black buttons/white text...not sure why they didn't go for the all popular black notification bar though.
