So I love this theme, and I've been using it since it came out. I wanted to tweak one small thing about this theme:
In the Gmail app, that background for the bottom bar (while in an email) has been bugging me to death. So, I decided to simply edit that one small bottom_bar.png inside the Gmail.apk. I rebooted into bootstrap recovery, and I pushed the modified Gmail.apk back into /system/app/ via adb. After rebooting back up normally, I don't see the change even though adb said it successfully said it pushed Gmail.apk back into the /system/app/ dir.

Am I missing something as to why it didn't take that small change? How would it still be using the old Gmail.apk?

(edit: i did try wiping the cache partition too...didn't make a difference)
