    Hey folks,

after i dealed something with theming and stuff, i found a lot of good black-themes, but all of them had some disadvantages. All i wanted, was a transparaent themed notification bar with a little Droid inside. and THIS is excactly what i can provide here,
with a special thanks to MATTMASO!

    What you need:

    • Droid on 2.1 or 2.0.1
    • Busybox installed and running
    • Metamorph
    • This file
    What you do:

    1. Copy the Zip File to /sdcard/AndroidThemes
    2. Start Metamorph and Select the zip for theming
    3. GOGOGO :D

You can use this addon as an addon to existing theme, cuz it DOESNT touch the bar itself, only the background of it. But you can also use it as standalone theme/mod as i do ;)
So the bar itself will have the color you themed before (i did mine black). If it is still stock-white, it will remain white!

    ****NO COLORED! THANKS TO TAYPOTTS****

    ****DISCLAIMER****
Theming can brick your phone! Dont do it if you dont know WHAT you are doing!
This theme was intentionally designed for MILESTONE, but im quite sure it WILL work on a DROID ;)

    Compatibility List

    • WORKS on DroidMod 1.0
    • Ultimate Droid V-8.1.1
    • WORKS on BB .9 with this workaround:

Works great on my Droid running DroidMod 1.0!
    Thanks.

If I wanted to edit this a little (change the pull down tab), can I just put a correctly named file into the correct folder and re-zip it, or do I have to change the .thm file somehow?

Difficould....but i think you have to change the thm file.
But if you know how to handle a bricked droid( which is easy ;) ) then give it a shot!

It worked. I just took the status_bar_close_on.9.png from smoked glass and stuck it in your folder. results:

Any idea where the green lines under the ongoing Apps list in the shade are coming from? I noticed them in your screenshots as well.

Works great. Maybe you could modify so anroid is blue or gone altogether? The green is cool but doesn't go well with the blue in the smoked glass rom. Thanx for your consideration.

He means the little green from the android just under the notifactions. It is only on the right hand side. It is in your screenshots.

Downloaded with Droid... unzipped with metamorph.. opened with astro.. copied the drawable-hdpi file "status_bar_background"... pasted into my hexfusion framework-res/drawable-hdpi file... selected "overwrite"... reapplied the hexfusion framework-res... worked like a charm

Was worried about the previous comments on touching the framework.... and was at the park with my kid... so did it all on the Droid

Would like to see different colors... blue please

Is it just the "status_bar_background.png" file that needs to be edited in the framework-res with out using metamorph?
