The above statement is not to say those with actual connection issues are not having problems because it very well could be a bad phone. But I look at my lte numbers and compare it to the rezound and razr and been frustrated. Now it seems that I was just misinformed. So if I am getting a good signal and my data is not being interrupted then I am not gonna fret.

Great post, thanks. I've always though that the GNEX's reception scaling might be a bit off simply because there have been places where I have 0 bars but still have LTE and it doesn't switch over to 3G. I quit worrying about bars, but that explanation helps me understand much better what's going on.

Try learning how to spell ignorantly or how to use spell check before you start calling other users ignorant.

The problems that myself and other users have with reception are not imagined.

I for one can be standing right next to another verizon 4g lte customer and while their phone can connect and stream video flawlessly this pos gnex is still trying to connect to the stream.

It's not about any perceived value on a meter. It is about performance.....which really sucks!!!!!

We all paid a pretty penny for the G-Nex. :icon_evil: And it should perform like a champ on the best most reliable network with ICS!!!

This was the point of my second post. If you are having problems connecting that could be a bad device. I went through 4 with the same issues. You will know when you have a good device because you will not have issues with connections and when you add the new imm76k connection issues are almost completely gone. For me even in a place where my device was telling me I had 0 bars I was still on the internet and remained connected. Those going through trust me when I say I understand your frustrations. This thread is not meant to tell you that "you do not know what you are talking about". Because if you are having problems staying connected then those are obvious problems and I hope you guys are 1) able to get a good nexus 2) you guys are able to get a suitable replacement (ie razr).

Great find, I often wonder about the nexus as I almost got it over the maxx. Really I only got the maxx cause I am a case and extended battery kind of guy, which is difficult to do with extended batteries lol. I guess if I looked at Seidio and saw the combo before I may have ended up with a maxx. I don't regret the maxx at all, I must really loved my Samsung epic and really hated my x2. Either way great find!
