I've rooted my phone using the superuser file, but I never noticed any prompts asking for permission when I ran an app that needed root. I installed the "superuser whitelist" program from the market and noticed it gave me the prompt for such things, but it usually locks up an app when requesting access,so after granting it access I have to force close the app and run it again. When messaging the dev about the issue, he said "doesn't the droid already have this? itsfor android 1.6" so I was a bit confused since I never saw any prompts before downloading this app. Also, I now can not uninstall the app (the uninstall button is disabled). Anyone care to give some information or suggestions here? Has the superuser update exploit gave you guys the access prompt for rooted apps, or did you also need a market app to get this feature?
