Yes, when you set up a wallpaper it prompts you to crop the picture, and it won't select a ratio other than the ratio of 1440x1280

Not to threadjack but you can save a lot of headaches using Wallpaper Wizardrii to set a wallpaper cropped however you like that doesn't scroll. If it's not compatible with the ICS yet it should be soon.

Quality on Screenshots horrible, what happened?

Used the Image tool in the post editor, uploaded the screenshots directly - they look great as standalone PNGs, so I think the forum software might be dorking with the images (setting inappropriate vales for width/height attributes on IMG tags, perhaps)?

Actually I just followed the links on the attachments you quoted, and they show up fine in a new tab - are you sure you meant my shots, or the ones that were horizontally stretched on another page???
