The Note 8 Is A Pain To Repair

iFixit has reported that the Note 8 can be disassembled in 10 pretty simple steps, however putting the phone back together might be a bit of a nightmare. The phone uses lots of small parts and tons of adhesive to keep itself together. This is due to the non traditional layout of the phone with the battery having been moved to the center of the phone and the beater bar being moved to the bottom right. The rearrangement of components allows more breathing room to incase of overheating. Most parts are modular and can be replaced independently, but that would require you to remove the fragile and expensive back panel. If your Note 8 needs repair you will more than likely be better off to send it in to a support center. iFixit gave the Note 8 a repairability score of 4 out of 10.
