In all fairness, it's not really a paid app. It's a closed beta. I know Swype doesn't really want it out there, but they're still giving it away for free. Still, I'm sure it violates the spirit of the rule, if not the letter of it.

i've noticed the same problem as well. i'll swype something, it will give me some gibberish back, and then if i hightlight and then hit the swype button, the word i wanted is almost always the first word on the list...annoying.

If anyone's interested, I've discovered a way to keep beta 5612 running past the expiration date.

Open discussions about obtaining Swype are not allowed on the Forum, it is a closed Beta

I've noticed when the newest beta was released, it wasn't as accurate. Does anyone else have the issue of the word "want" always comes out "wasn't"?

I got an email that the version we're running now will expire in the next couple days with a link to the new beta. This means anyone running an "illegal" version will soon be crying lol. I don't understand why people don't just sign up for the beta. Personally, I've switched to SlideIT and am very happy with it. I love the shortcut options. :D

Yeah, Tegamal, that happens to me all the time too. Also if I change the sensitivity and I swype a period it puts "bbb" instead of the desired period.
