We previously reported that the HTC One Developer Edition would soon be getting the Android 4.3 update, and that soon has turned into a "now." We have reports that the Android 4.3 update is now rolling out to folks with the Developer Edition version of this device. Of course, these updates typically are sent out in batches, so if you haven't received yours yet, just know that you are in line.

The new software version of this update for the HTC One DE is 3.22.1540.1. There aren't a ton of changes to Android 4.3, as it is mostly just tweaks and improvements, although it does include Bluetooth LE support, OpenGL ES 3.0, enhanced photo DayDream and a few other things. Folks in the U.S. who have the HTC One on a carrier will just have to wait a while longer while the Android 4.3 update continues to get tweaked and tested.
