i recently got a droid, after the 3rd day, the soft keys are constantly on. even when i turn off the phone, it remains on. taking out the battery is the only thing that turns it off. anyone know of a way that could possibly fix this?
the four soft keys stay lit FOREVER!

Yes... take the phone back to where you purchased it and get it replaced under warranty!
Just noticed that my droid x does something similar. The home and setting keys (left two) stay lit but very dimly when the display is off. Even after i power off the phone, they stay lit. Only taking the battery out solves it.
