Clarence Clemons died yesterday from complications from a stroke. Baby boomers and Springsteen fans know he was the great sax player with the E Street Band.

I listen to deep tracks on Sirius XM 27, and they said last week that he did suffer a stroke, but as of Friday they said it looked like he was headed for a full recovery, so when I heard this I was shocked.

Clemons was not only a Sax player, he provided the soul for the band. As a music fan this is a tremendous loss. I don't think he can be replaced, I don't know if we will ever see the E Street Band again.

He played too big of a part of the E Street Band for them to do much of anything with Bruce now - except for some sort of tribute. It sucks that his fame was essentially limited to his time with Springsteen and not as big of a solo career. His music will be missed.
