The Application " " Keyboard has stopped unexpectedly. Help please.

    I previously had a samsung charge, and whenever I would be texting in landscape mode I would get an error, "The applicaiton Samsung keyboard has stopped unexpectedly. This would happen every 30 minutes. After you forced close, you can still type in landscape, but nothing shows up. Then if you turn the screen to portrait, everything you typed shows up. In order to get text to show up in landscape mode you have to do a hard reboot.

    I got rid of the phone yesterday and got an LG spectrum. Figured it would fix it.
    NOPE!!

    Had it force close 4 times since I've owned it (24 hours).

    I have only downloaded 2 apps, AutoGuide and Facebook on this new spectrum so far.
    Any idea whats causing it?

    I read somewhere to clear the keyboard cache in the app settings, I tried that with not luck.

    Here's the error.

    Yes I did try a different keyboard..happened about 20 minutes after install.

    It produced the same error message a total of 11 times today..

    I'm gonna head to verizon tomorrow and see if they have a solution,...

    So I went to verizon today...all the techs and managers were stumped.


    They put a new SIM card in...we'll see if that fixes it. I should hopefully know within 2 or 3 hours..

    Went back to verizon today because of the same error...and the tech said "oh this is a known issue..switch to Swype and the problem will be gone." I did..and it fixed it. But I hate swype. He said it will be fixed with the next update...

    I am also having this same issue, on the same device. I bought mine 2/3 and was instructed to take the phone into the store I bought it from and switch it out. 2 devices later I gave up since I was passed my 15 day "trial period". Stuck until Update.
