Cancel, what do you mean cancel a message? If you mean delete, just click the "menu" touch button and manage the messages.

I've never had to do this, but maybe try hitting the "back" button as it sends, maybe that will work. I know on the old classic phones you could do it by hitting red "hang up" button, but that's old school, lol.

You can try to delete it before it sends? Even still I've seen messages send that still say sending.

try a long press on message, some options should pop up and select cancel. be advised that even though it might look like its trying to send message sometimes its already sent.

On handcent SMS there's an option you can add, that will delay the text being sent, so you can cancel it before it actually is sent.

i frequently start typing texts and then decide i don't want to sent them. i just hit the delete key on the keyboard (the little x in an arrow box) and keep hitting it until the message box is empty. viola, message gone.
