Texting

I switched from a blackberry to the droid. Most of my sms was on the rim blackberry messenger. One of the great things about that was it would tell you next to the message whether your message was received and or read with a d for delivered and an r for read. Does anyone know if their is a way to get that type indicator for my regular texting on the X?

In mms and sms message settings, there is "delivery reports" check block. I haven't used it, but I'm sure it'll do something.

Thanks. That allows me to click on message and view report. Close, but not exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks again for the response.

I remember the bb notification sign too. It was just a little silent thing that said it was delivered. I guess nit so much an item for droid. I've learned to live without....lol.

Haven't tried but I heard the Kik messenger app is suppose to have that option.

If the text message has a timestamp on it, it was delivered.

If it fails it will have an icon on the message. And you also get a notification.

Is there a way to tell when the message was actually read? My LG EnV phone showed a check mark when the message was read by the other person although it only worked if both users were on Verizon.
