Texting Auto Correction

I just got my Bionic after retiring my droid 1. One of the features I liked about the Droid 1 is that it would auto correct my misspellings when texting. I haven't figured out how to do that on my bionic. It will just type the incorrect spelling. It will give me options for correct spellings along the top, but I have to click them myself instead of it picking the best option on it's own.

There's probably some setting that I'm missing ,but I can't figure out how to fix. Any ideas?

From the home screen: Menu --> Settings --> Language & Keyboard --> Multi-touch keyboard --> Auto-correct errors

By default, the autocorrect is turned off, just select it and you'll see the green check to tell you that it's on.

Careful with that auto correct, my phone has jammed some strange words in for me that I didnt want! I turned it off.
