Text Shows from Wrong Person

I have been having an issue where occasionally a text will come in and the wrong name is shown in the text app. The right number is displayed for who really sent it but wrong name is shown.

This is dangerous as my reply to a friend will be different than to my mom. I really can't figure out that is going on and the verizon store can't either.

This has happened on my phone as well, but it cleared up on it's own. I'm sure that's not the last time, and I'll be curious of a fix as well.

Did you happen to notice if it stopped after uninstalling another app?

I can't rule that out...if that was the case I wouldn't even know what app it would have been.

I have the same problem. It happens occasionally and usually fixes itself pretty quickly...but I haven't figured out why.
