Is there any way or any app that will allow you to assign a paticular tone or alert to a contact when they text message you? I know you can do it for phone calls but I don't see anything for text. I use to do it on the Blackberry storm. I recieive alot of alerts, news, sports scores, etc. and don't like to check my phone every time unless I know who it is.

    Thanks in Advance

I think handsent allows you to do it for all text messages but not just for individual contacts. I might be wrong.

although it doesnt look like handset will allow you to add custom sounds/ringtones, can i make a ringtone in ringdroid and apply it to certain contacts in handcent?
