I'm using the Handcent App for my texting...but all of the text messages I receive are also stored in the stock Texting app...is there a way to change this so only Handcent stores my messages?

I noticed that the two seem to be linked...because when I cleared the texts from the stock app, the ones in Handcent also got cleared and vice versa.

    Thanks.

handcent works the same way as the stock app - it pulls from your messages and displays them. cant delete from one without it deleting from the other.

is it really that big of a deal though?

You know I guess it really isn't...since they both delete each other it's okay...as long as I don't have to go to both to delete messages.

One other thing...I heard that this phone saves all your messages even after you delete them? Is that true? If so, where are they saved and how to I clear/stop that?
