Text from your phone using desktop

Ok guys, I've used MightyText and Air DROID, but they both have two major disadvantages, although AirDroid is damn good!!!

AirDroid doesn't support 3G/4G. Therefore, while I'm at work, I'm forced to use MightyText which works on 3G/4G. However, MightyText's interface isn't great at all and their web application is very unstable (very slow or if I'm texting many people, I may have to refresh the whole page).

So, does anyone use anything else that allows texting from your phone using your desktop?

I used to tether with pdanet and that had that feature.
