Hi I'm noob but I rooted my android and got a tethering app and I'm wondering if it will cost money to use it.

I have a unlimited Verizon internet plan and a Droid2Globel phone. Any real answer would be vary appreciated.

Wireless tether that you download is a free and highly frowned upon app, if not illegal, even if you have unlimited data plan. To avoid them finding and charging you a ridiculous amount, be careful how much you use it.

I have a Verizon droid og and I bought pdanet. It's wired tethering It is not rooted and it works for me with windows 7. You have to use a mini usb cable but I like it and it works great for me. Verizon doesn't know and I stream video on my laptop while I drive in f..ing LA traffic
