    Howdy Folks,

I know this/these questions have been asked more than a few times, and I did a (couple of) search(es) that either gave me way too many results or no results. That preamble out of the way, my questions.

I recently rooted my Motorola Droid and installed Wireless Tether for Root Users. I have been getting decent results, but not great. Over the last couple of days it's gotten worse (to the point of constant disconnects).

My question is, is there something simple that I overlooked (I'm a newbie)? Or has VZW done something recently? Along the same lines, is paying for the service vs using the rooted tether going to provide better results?

I'm happy to provide any additional information to help with a solution. Thanks in advance!

might just be the signal from wherever you're tethering?

try dialing *228 and option 2 to update your data capabilities.
