Anyone know a way to tether for an ipod touch? I normally use bluetooth tethering with the netbook but can't figure out the ipod .

I'm not 100% on this but I think you have to jailbrake the iPod touch. It can't use an ad hoc network which is what your phone is transmitting.

If you jailbrake the iPod there are work arounds for this, just like you would root your phone.

Not rooted, and the bluetooth tethering I usually use w/ netbook doesn't work. Damned Apple... I don't want to root just to do this, really looking for either an app or workaround that works.

You will need to kick up the 20 bucks a month and use 3G hotspot on the phone.
