So why use a task manager app? How do they operate and can people that know nothing about technology use them? I have the A855. Which one is the best to install?

Welcome to the forum. The article that was posted by droider goes on about memory management, nothing really to say about battery management. I personally use one, because i have apps that sometimes don't close their functions when i hit the home button, so they use up alot battery life. I use the managers to kill them so they don't eat the battery life. This is my choice, which isn't everyones.
