    I’ve owned both.
    Don't have loyalty to either.
I have to admit, Tim cook has gotten to me. My concern is security. Gathering "anonymized data”is fine, but how anonymized is the data?
And who would they share it with?
Basically, whatever I do with my phone is my business. Seems Android seems a little too eager to share personal info.

    Thoughts, recommendations?

there are multiple know reasons why you can switch to an Android device from an iPhone. Here are some to name a few
    1. Better values
    2. 3.5mm headphone jacks
    3. USB Type-C charging ports with fast charging
    4. Customization, widgets, and skins
    5. A true, working file system
    6. A back button
    7. More login options
let me know if you are still not convinced.

I've tried both of them for a long time and I have to admit that Apple is what I look for the most
