Just in time for the expected launch of a little(NEXUS1) phone from Google, T-Mobile today announced that it has upgraded its entire 3G network to full HSPA speeds That's 7.2Mbps, for those of you playing at home. T-Mo also said it's testing HSPA+ (that's 21Mbps) in Philadelphia and hopes to have it up and running by the middle of 2010 elsewhere. [via Phonescoop]

Does this change anyone's mind about getting the Nexus 1? If T-Mobile service gets bettering might have a change of heart

It may have increased it's (max) speed, but did it increase coverage?

all of the jailbroken iphones and imported GSM phones from other countries will cripple t-mobile's network once (if) everyone is able to connect to it.

Well at least there appears to be some coverage on this map. The one in the link looked blank. Had me saying.... "WTF?"

Look at the map legend - Only the darkest color is 3G.

    The pink is Edge/GPRS
