SWYPE Beta Issues...

Ugh- so I installed the new SWYPE beta the other day... It felt a lot ummm "squishier" then it should have... Can't really explain that, I guess less responsive?

Then I noticed my entire phone was kind of sluggish, and started randomly reseting itself every so often. Went back to the stock SWYPE and uninstalled the beta and so far everything seems fine.

Anyone else try the beta and suffer a similar fate?

I've had it installed for a few days and haven't noticed that.

Are you rooted? Using a launcher? I'm just checking to see if Swype beta isn't playing nice with something.

I'm using smart keyboard pro for now. I tried swype beta, anything that required text input was extremely sluggish.

But I was using beta software on a leaked build of ICS (2233), so not sure I can blame swype beta for the bionic's performance.

Not rooted, but I do use GO Launcher... Maybe that had something to do with it.

I had to toss Go Launcher. I had random slowdowns, long load times, general sluggishness. Moved to Apex. Not as capable but it gets the job done.
