Alright, I need some opinions and advice from everyone here that uses CM on a daily basis. I am interested in dabbling in other roms and this one seems promising as it is the next more popular choice.

I use BBv0.6.1, and have used BB since I originally rooted. I enjoy its stability, 24hr+ battery life, and that the user experience is still mostly stock. Will CM compare to this for me? The major thing is the launcher being close to stock... just because it doesnt have all this extra fluff.

Today, I tried the CM7#3... It was nice, wasnt a fan of the launcher and it was missing all the gApps. Please point me in the right direction and see if you can keep another user. ^_^
    Thanks.

the gapps are a separate file that needs to be flashed
cm7 aka gingerbread is still in development stages. lotta things are buggy so you wont get the polished cm feel thats in 6.1.2
cm uses adw launcher. but you can use any launcher you would like
cm is mostly stock, and i dont know anything at all about bb...but i would guess that a lot of the rom comes from cm anyway!

pete was doing bugless WAAAYYYY before anyone started porting cyanogen to the Droid. bugless was the first rom I stuck with when I first rooted a year ago. I didn't switch until CM was available in a stable form and never looked back...

just make a back up and give 6.1.2 a shot for now..give it a couple days tho if you really wanna find out if you like it. I remember switching roms for 10 minutes or less and deciding they werent for me..cyanogen is worth the time, imo.

I started with Bugless. Now I'm on CM and I haven't looked back. Give CM a try. It has so much more customization options than BB.

CM 6.1.2 is treating me the best so far. I've tried Bugless Beast V0.6.2.1, and the recent LFY. I like the notification bar customization on CM, but that's just because I love a clutter free screen. BB is fast, but plain like corn flakes. To each their own (ROM:). I think testing, testing, and testing is the best way to find something you enjoy.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to stick the Stable release on here and see if I can deal with the changes. And thanks for the heads-up on the gApps. I was lost without the market :p
