I took almost everything off of it, left music and have MIUI as the rom so now I just use WiFi for Pandora and play my DL'd songs. What have you done with your phones once you got a new one?

The question is, what not to do with it! There are a lot of options to do with a D1. Just root it and pick and choose which rom you want to use along with what kernel works best for you.

oh, it's been rooted for a long time... I switched to a Droid Incredible after having my D1 since it came out. I'd hate to let my D1 just sit there... thought about making it just a media player or something along those lines.

I would just try and load a diffrent operating system on it just to mess around, like try and get Windows 7 or Windows vista of something from Mac, just mess around with that kind of stuff, just use it for experimenting you know.

They are basically little computers now. I would like to learn more about how the OS works so I think I will start experimenting with it a bit.
