I decided to switch from ADW simply because it was way to LAGGY, it froze here and there for a few seconds, the scrolling was terrible at times, a few times it restarted my phone, so as much as I LOVED the different themes and icons I could change, I decided to give LauncherPro a chance cuz I saw on a site that it was a lot smoother, but not as cool.

I do love the ability to hide all those stupid Stock Apps I never use, and the ability to have 3 scrollable dock-bars, but I don't like the glass like Icons on the Dock.

I am a newbie here, I've rooted my phone simply for the ability to have Screen Shot capability and Wireless Tethering, which I barely use, and I still don't know about ROMs and kernels and the cool themes you guys have here, and different boot logo's or any of that stuff.

Can anyone recommend anything to me?

I also have been looking for a theme to get a Dock Bar like this, that arched dock, but I want to be able to add the App Drawer in the middle instead of phone, and have a call button on the left, and contacts on the right:

Launcher Pro lets you change the icons in the dock bars. Simply long press on the one you want to change and you can either change the icon or the shortcut. You can also find custom dock backgrounds. Launcher Pro is very customizable. check out Launcher Pro Icons in the market for different colors and styles. You can also use your own icons from other places.
