swap partition question

    how do i know if the swap partition is working im running the latest cm and have the stock sd card and used rom manager to create the swap and apps2sd partition

    also can someone direct me to a tutorial on installing a good overclocking kernal

    you can do it in rom manager just go into cyanogen and there are the only two you can use

    when you first open rom manager hit your menu key and then go into options and hit advanced cause the kernels with prolly be greyed out if you dont

    ok cool i didnt see that what the radio thing in rom manager for cm and would still like to know the answer to the swap question

    yes you can swap the partition on the stock sd card. it will format your sd so back up the stuff you want to keep on your computer. yep just use rom manager and select partition sd. and your set to go.

    go to applications under setting and select apps to SD.

    from what i have read the easy way to enable the swap partition is to use a 3rd party aplication, try Swapper from the marketplace, make sure you "enable swap partition" in the program options.
