Is there any way i can purchase the app through paypal? I am unable to purchase through the market.
How does one multi-select apps? I found the max amount in settings and can understand why selecting a bunch of apps at once would bring the phone to its knees. A few at a time would be nice. I must be missing something.
@troutbeck, I was/am having the same issue. I just ran aLogcat and it is an Out of Memory error for me. It didn't say that in Privacy Blocker, just said "insert name of program" failed. Please try again.
Xeodoxus - If I've closed all of my other programs, is there anything else I can do to get this to work?
I will forward you a copy of the aLogcat shortly, but it clearly says E/Privacy Blocker (2534): Out of memory error
On the main screen hit Menu and you'll see an option that says multiple apps. Click that and you will be able to choose more than one.
First, this app is awsome. I love having as much control as possible, and that has always been one of my complaints with android.
I have had success with quite a few of my app and they seem to work just fine after fixing.
I only have had a problem with three. (droid running a CM7 nightly)
Words with friends - I checked my logcat, and its a memory error. (I tried killing all task, disabling data service, and a dumping cache, but still get the memory error)
Angry Birds - This fails during signing (7/7) for me. I'll have to get a logcat for it because I forgot.
Facebook - This one is a little weird. I don't get any message, I just get sent back to my home screen after it scans. Logcat shows a memory error again
What are some other ways to "free up" memory on this old droid?
Ok so there are these private apps that we can't use PB on. What makes them Private? As I see some are my apps that require root are and some aren't. Some by Google and some are by random people.
Things I've noticed. Running this on large apps can be trouble. talking tom cat didn't get fixed. It ran and appeared to finish but then no uninstall install. And they take a Lot of time on the big apps.
How come someone said their Angry birds turned up 9 issues and mine turned up 0?
Some apps when scanning them take 50 times longer than some other apps of relatively the same size.
Sometimes Cancelling a scan works...and times it doesn't. Or maybe it takes so long I don't have the patience to let it finish.
My biggest headache is I can Never scroll all the way through my apps to the bottom....at any pace. slow or fast it doesn't matter. Thank goodness i can change the ascending/descending or I'd never be able to get to some of my apps.
I'd like to hear from people that have fixed Dolphin HD and SoundHound and some other apps that have tons of red flags on them. Does everything still work after fixing it?
The FC's from scrolling through my list has me foaming at the mouth. What can I try to not experience these constantly?
thanks, for the app. it really is a clean thing of beauty even though i just complained for 5 minutes.
edit....can one turn off the screen while its working? I tried once and it didn't seem to continue working. I've grinded off 55% of my battery today playing with this
While trying to Fix Alchemy: Warning message.
The application Privacy Blocker (process com. xeudoxus.priccy.blocker) has stopped unexpectadly. Please Try Again
This came up any ideas.
I went ahead and fixed Dolphin HD. It FC's so often now it is unusable.
If others are having FC's with certain apps post them here to I don't bother trying to fix them.
Been fixing apps all day lol. Just purchased the app as promised. Love how it seamlessly upgraded the beta to release.
Question about the "Phone Call" setting. If we send the junk data that it doesn't stop a phone call from interrupting what you're doing does it?
I've only had about 2 of my last 10 apps work. They are scanning...but then won't fix. will go through the process then at the end say it failed in red at the bottom.
apps that are nothing special
several others. i've tried rebooting...no go.
only about 20% of my apps are "fixing"
Ive started fixing the errors in the "Reports" I have been getting, next ill work on problems like these.
No, but let me know the problem with market and ill take a look.
In time im going to make smali/baksmali perform better, but for now, killing the running apps is all I can think of.
When putting apps on the market you have an option to "make app private" which puts them into the "/data/private-app/" instead of the "/data/app/" folder.
Im working on this.
That is odd, everyones should be reporting the same thing (Unless) they have a different version that didnt or did have these issues.
It depends on how big the "classes.dex" is, not really how but the entire app is (They could just have tons of images).
It depends on where your att in the process (I only allow canceling if the app can do it safely)
On the scroll, you will have to give me more details. Im not sure what you are talking about.
I have it keep on the screen so nothing in the app gets "shutdown" but ill run some tests and see if I can make the app handle that.
Ill check out that application.
Ill check it out.
Ill check out those apps.
How do you think the PB/PI should determined if the app is "bad". Currently I just have it look at the highest "problem" and use that. But depending on the app, its really not an issue and you would "not" want to fix it (Example: location on Maps.apk)
I want to try and avoid me going through each apps to make my "own" assessment to see whats bad or good (and that list be included in the app or download results).
