New to the neighborhood but I've had my Droid bionic for just about a year now.

I do have a quick question tho. I tried to do the system update on my droid bionic, but everytime I get to the installation process it tells me that the update has failed. The download goes fine but it won't install. Can anybody help me with that?

in regards to your question, have you rooted and made any system changes?

Yes I did let someone do something to my phone a while ago so I think maybe they did root it. So that prevents me from getting any upgrades from now on?

Depending on your "rooted" system, you will most likely need to restore (FXZ) back to stock (905) and then you can take the update. Check out our Bionic section for that info... Droid Bionic Forum
