Hi,
I am one of the many who have had the issue of where you turn the phone off and back on again, and it gets stuck on the 'm' logo. You pull the batt for 5 minutes and the phone boots up fine. This all happened after the froyo update.
I am sick and tired of waiting two months for motorola to release a fix. I've posted this on motorola support forums, and somebody said that there's a patch for it, and another side that it's related to a lcd driver (?). I don't want to go through the whole thing again, but if you want, I will. Here's the reference link...

Since I'm sure this has been covered here, I don't want to go too in deep with it. My question is that if I root the phone, will it fix it? I don't think the root itself will fix it, but is there a guide on how to fix it?
thanks in advanced.
