I didnt report it as water damage to Asurion because then it wouldnt have been covered. I reported it lost/stolen dancedroid

Actually Asurion does cover water damage, and now that you reported lost or stolen, it will have a bad esn, and no one can activate it, provided you get it out of bootloader.

Here are my findings:

  1. USB powers slowly, but will charge it up over time and using another source will work more effectively.
  2. When you go to power it on it must NOT be plugged in to anything.
