streaming media to droid

i have used orb for the past couple days and i love it but its doesnt play most video files very well and decreases the quality of videos a lot is there another app that would work better or maybe settings i can change

files that dont play almost at all:
mkv

files that dont work too well is :
avi
ogm

files that work best:
rmvb

thats how it is for me anyway
